Through responses of sixty-two teachers, it is concluded that the teachers are trying hard to make their online classes effective but they are not well informed of the e-learning tools. Responses of English language teachers from all over India were received. To collect data for this research a survey was conducted using an online questionnaire. understand how much are the English language teachers aware of the e-learning tools available and to suggest some e-learning tools to make online English language teaching effective. Even after having many years of teaching experience teachers are facing difficulty in adjusting to the present e-learning trends. Old ways and methods of teaching now require changes or a new touch. Teachers are trying to learn and adjust themselves with the technology. It has been a year since the Indian education system has seen a major shift due to the ongoing pandemic.
